Cynomolgus MASP2 Protein
Recombinant Cynomolgus MASP2 Protein is expressed from E.coli with His tag at the C-Terminus.It contains Thr287-Phe686 [Accession | A0A2K5UJY0].
The protein has a predicted MW of 46.8 kDa. Due to autocatalytic cleavage, the protein migrates to 21-24 kDa&28-30 kDa based on Bis-Tris PAGE result.

Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in 50mM Tris, 200mM NaCl (pH 9.0). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.

-20 to -80°C for 24 months as supplied from date of receipt.

Te MASP2 gene is located on the chromosome 1p36.23–31 and encodes two proteins, MASP-2 and Map198. Both the levels and function of MASP-2 are modulated by the single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of the MASP2 gene. Te level of MASP-2 in plasma plays a dual role in the infection and progression of infectious diseases. Te defciency of MASP-2 in plasma has been associated with the susceptibility of HIV. By contrast, the overproduction of MASP-2 may increase the infammatory efect.
