The protein has a predicted MW of 61.75 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 75-100 kDa based on Bis-Tris PAGE result.

制剂(Formulation)

Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.

Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. Please refer to the Certificate of Analysis for detailed instructions.

存储(Storage)

-20 to -80°C for 12 months as supplied from date of receipt.
-80°C for 3 months after reconstitution.
Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities for optimal storage. Please minimize freeze-thaw cycles.

背景(Background)

IL1RL1(also known as ST2) is a member of the IL1 receptor family and serves as the receptor for IL-33. The ST2 protein has two isoforms including sST2 and the membrane-bound ST2 receptor, referred to as ST2L. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that binding of IL-33 to ST2L elicits a cardioprotective effect. ST2/IL-33 signaling may play an important role in intestinal disease.
