Recombinant Mouse R spondin 1/RSPO1 Protein is expressed from HEK293 with His tag at the C-Terminus. It contains Ser21-Gln265.[Accession | Q9Z132]
The protein has a predicted MW of 28.3 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 45-48 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.
Less than 1EU per μg by the LAL method.

Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in 20mM MES, 150mM NaCl, 200mM Arginine (pH 5.5). Normally 8% trehalose / 8% mannitol is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Centrifuge the tube before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/ml is recommended. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in 20mM MES, 150mM NaCl, 200mM Arginine (pH 5.5).
-20 to -80°C for 12 months as supplied from date of receipt.
-80°C for 3-6 months after reconstitution.
2-8°C for 2-7 days after reconstitution.
Recommend to aliquot the protein into smaller quantities for optimal storage. Please minimize freeze-thaw cycles.

The R-spondins are members of a superfamily of thrombospondin type 1 repeat (TSR-1)-containing proteins. The prototype member (discovered in 1971) was isolated from platelets that had been stimulated with thrombin, and was therefore designated 'thrombin-sensitive protein.
